The odds of giving birth to identical quadruplets: 1 in 13 million.

The population of Fairview, a town where all anyone talks about is the Fairview Fourโ€™s return after fourteen years: 47,327.

The chance of Reagan meeting a guy who sees her as one of a kind: better than she thinks.

Following in her sistersโ€™ footstepsโ€”and, all too often, their shadowsโ€”is nothing new to Reagan. But a disastrous first day at Fairview High forces her down a new path, one that could lead to seeing herself as more than just someone elseโ€™s sister. Things arenโ€™t going as smoothly for Reilly, Reece, and Rhiannon though. How can Reagan let herself be happyโ€”or dare to fall in loveโ€”when she may be the only one who can bring her family back together?

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants meets Gilmore Girls in the first novel of a heartwarming new series about first loves, family, and finding your way.

โ€œWeโ€™re looking for number one-fifty-one,โ€ Mom says as though we havenโ€™t all spent the last month staring at this house from Google Maps.
The street, ridiculously long due to the size of the houses, winds and bends. Weโ€™re going to be living right at the end of the cul-de-sac, before the park.
But as soon as the grey house weโ€™re about to live in comes into view, so does a boxy, white news van. Weโ€™re still a dozen houses away, but itโ€™s impossible to missโ€”and something I definitely didnโ€™t expect. All at once, Iโ€™m not that excited.
I wasnโ€™t supposed to talk to actual people today, let alone put on my publicity face. My heart races as a million possible scenarios spin through my headโ€”anything they might ask me, anything I might do to make myself seem like an idiot.
โ€œLooks like weโ€™ve got company,โ€ Mom says, slowing down the car.
My body slumps down in the passengerโ€™s seat. Iโ€™m trying to hide even though we havenโ€™t been spotted yet.
โ€œSeriously?โ€ Reece snaps from the back. She only got about two hours of sleep the night before, and I donโ€™t imagine sheโ€™s in the mood for surprises, even if there is a photographer involved.
โ€œMom,โ€ Reilly adds, the twinge of a whine in her voice. โ€œWhat are they doing here?โ€
โ€œIโ€™m sorry.โ€ Momโ€™s eyes dart around nervously, looking for a way out. โ€œI had no idea theyโ€™d be here. I donโ€™t even know how they knew weโ€™d be here.โ€ She pulls the car over to the side of the road, hiding us behind a minivan.
I inhale slowly, willing myself to stay calm. Itโ€™s not like we havenโ€™t dealt with the media before, but itโ€™s been years since anyone has really cared about the โ€˜Fairview Four.โ€™ When we were little, there were a couple of news features about us and a half-hour documentary for some silly reality TV channel. Most people didnโ€™t care at all, but some people cared way too much. By the time we were old enough to search for ourselves online, there was almost no one left who cared about who we were or the anomaly of our birth.
Groaning, I bang my head back against the headrest. I want to be in my new room, in my new bed, organizing my bookshelves. Really, I want to be anywhere but here, about to have to answer pointless questions about myself and how it feels to be back after all these years.

About Where we Were:

Our entire lives have been shaped around our identity as identical quadruplets. Four sisters, all with the same face, but totally different personalities. We are four of a kind, and there has never been a time when we didn’t have each other to lean on. But, when our parents announce that we’ll been moving away from the city and back to the town where we were born, we can no longer be certain of anything but change.

This is where we were.

Kellie SheridanAbout the Author:
Kellie Sheridan been in love with stories in all of their forms for as long as she can remember. Admittedly, sometimes that means falling into places like Stars Hollow and Sunnydale, but books have always been her true love. In early 2011 she began writing a book blog in order to share my favorite reads with book lovers. From there, the bookish community encouraged her to stop sitting on her own stories and share them instead. Her first novel, Mortality released in March of 2013, and sheโ€™s been publishing ever since.
