A nightmare, Iβd told Tamlin. I was the nightmare.Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlinβs maneuverings and the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceitβand one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well. As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lordsβand hunt for allies in unexpected places.
My Review:
Amazing, as I knew it would be. I almost had at coronary at the end and those battle scenes were EPIC. This book makes me want to reread the other two again just to see where it all began and to look at the interactions with Rhysand in a totally different light in book one and two now that I know what I (we!) know! While I devoured this book, and it was fantabulous, I’m so sad this is the end of Feyre and Rhys’s love story as I adore them so much BUT I’m really excited to continue the series with some of the other characters. Really hope Nesta and Cassian’s story is next. Sarah Maas is an unbelievably talented author and I am a massive fan of her work – she is up there with the very best. I’m looking forward to reading her next few releases and I’m already on a countdown.
Definitely a solid addition to the series, and I agree, the battle scenes totally stressed me out, but this poor book had to follow ACOMAF, and that one just blew me away.
