In this special eBook version, experience OBSIDIAN, ONYX, and OPAL as told by Daemon Blackโ€ฆ

I knew the moment Katy Swartz moved in next door, there was going to be trouble. Lots of it.

And troubleโ€™s the last thing I need, since Iโ€™m not exactly from around here. My people arrived on Earth from Lux, a planet thirteen billion light years away. Plus, if thereโ€™s one thing I know, itโ€™s that humans canโ€™t be trusted. We scare them. We can do things they only dream about, and honestly, we make them look weak as hell. โ€˜Cuz they are.

But Kat is getting to me in ways no one else has, and I can’t stop myself from wanting herโ€”or wanting to use my powers to protect her. She makes me weak, and Iโ€™m the strongest of our kind, tasked with protecting us all. So this one simple girlโ€ฆshe can mean the end for us. Because the Luxen have an even bigger enemyโ€”the Arum, and I need to stay on my game.

Falling for Katyโ€”a humanโ€”won’t just place her in danger. It could get us all killed, and thatโ€™s one thing Iโ€™ll never let happen…

My Review:
Complete perfection. Totally loved every minute of it. Lots of new scenes to keep it fresh. Didn’t think I could love Daemon Black any more but I was wrong. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of rereading this series. Ten million stars. Thanks Jennifer, you’re the bomb. Hands down my favorite author.
