Daemon will do anything to get Katy back.

After the successful but disastrous raid on Mount Weather, he’s facing the impossible. Katy is gone. Taken. Everything becomes about finding her. Taking out anyone who stands in his way? Done. Burning down the whole world to save her? Gladly. Exposing his alien race to the world? With pleasure.

All Katy can do is survive.

Surrounded by enemies, the only way she can come out of this is to adapt. After all, there are sides of Daedalus that don’t seem entirely crazy, but the group’s goals are frightening and the truths they speak even more disturbing. Who are the real bad guys? Daedalus? Mankind? Or the Luxen?

Together, they can face anything.

But the most dangerous foe has been there all along, and when the truths are exposed and the lies come crumbling down, which side will Daemon and Katy be standing on?

And will they even be together?

My Review:
Holy alien babies, this book is explosive!
The lengths the DOD will go to are finally revealed in Origin, and it all starts to make sense. We learn more about Luc, and Blake’s true nature is out in the open. JLA, you’re right – Karma is a tool.
Daemon will burn the world down to get Katy back and don’t we just know it. Always thinking of others, always the protector, he goes charging into the thick of it to save Katy. Daring, brave, stupid, it’s complete Daemon as we’ve come to know and love him.
Archer reminds me a little of Leon/Apollo from the Covenent Series, but I adored him and look forward to seeing how his character develops.
Vegas, oh wow, Vegas tears the whole world apart in so many different ways. I’m not going to spoil it, but those scenes are insane.
I was heart-broken at the ending, and praying all wasn’t as it seemed.
I tore through this book in hours, unable to put it down. I know I’ve been fan-girling all over the place about Jennifer L. Armentrout, but I seriously love her writing style and I’m in awe of her creative genius. I hope some movie production company is optioning her work, as both the Covenent and Lux series would make epic movies and I’d die to see them on the big screen.
Superb. Highly Recommended.
