Look up the word “popular” and you’ll find Stone Torres’s picture. His life seems perfect—star of the football team, straight-A student, lots of friends. But his family is struggling to make ends meet, so if pitching in at the Torres dance studio helps, he’ll do it.

When Lily’s dad offers Stone extra cash to volunteer as Lily’s permanent dance partner, he can’t refuse. But with each dip and turn, each moment her hand is in his, his side job starts to feel all too real. But in dance, as in life, one wrong move and someone could get hurt.

About Forgiving Keven

Forgiving KevenForgiving Keven (The Kennedy Boys #7)
by Siobhan Davis

Description:
A suspenseful, second-chance, new adult romance from the USA Today bestselling author of When Forever Changes and Inseparable.

She’s the one who got away. He’s the boy she can’t forget…

Cheryl
They say you never forget your first love, but I’m determined to prove Keven Kennedy is just a random boy from my past.

It’s not like I still think about him after all this time. Or daydream about how hot his kisses were and what it felt like to have his hands on my skin.

Nope, that’s not me. I’m in a happy place in my life. Engaged to a great man and finishing the last year of my photography degree.

Yet, since I returned to Massachusetts, everything reminds me of the boy who ripped my heart to shreds. Especially when my fiancé’s constant business trips, and dwindling attention, raises old fears to the surface.

And then the unthinkable happens—Keven saunters back into my life, turning it upside down once more.

It’s ironic he thinks he’s protecting me when the only one I need protecting from is him.

Keven
They say you never forget your first love. In my case, it’s true. Most everyone in high school thought Cheryl and I were a match made in heaven and that nothing could tear us apart. Until I messed up spectacularly and lost the best thing to ever happen to me.

Years have passed, girls have come and gone, but no one has laid claim to my heart in the way Cheryl did.

I thought she was lost to me forever when an unexpected encounter with an uptight FBI agent, and an intriguing proposition, brings the beautiful blonde back into my life.

I didn’t hesitate to sign on the dotted line.

I let Cheryl down once before. I’m not going to fail her this time.

Forgiving Keven is a STANDALONE title in the Kennedy Boys world. No cliffhanger and a guaranteed HEA.

Excerpt:

“Come, sit,” he says, his fingers curling gently around the tips of mine. I plop down on the beanbag beside him and yelp. “You are hurt.” He frowns. “Let me take a look.” He scrunches the edge of my shirt, but I clamp down on his hand. There’s no way I’m admitting that it’s my butt that’s sore, and no way am I ready to let him inspect that part of my anatomy.

Yet.

Get you, my inner devil teases.

“I’m fine.” I pin him with a “drop it” look.

“You are so stubborn.” Shaking his head, he unscrews the cap from his bottle.

“I’m stubborn?” I level an incredulous look his way. “Have you not looked in the mirror recently, dude?”

He laughs and the sound sends warmth flooding through me.

“You’ve a lovely laugh,” I blurt out. Ohmigod! I can’t believe I said something so cheesy.

“I do?” He looks amused.

“Yep.” I’m resorting to one-word replies now for fear of what else might inadvertently tumble out of my mouth.

He stares intently at me, his fiery eyes penetrating my soul. The cord buzzes with anticipation. I might’ve forgotten how to breathe again. “You are beautiful, through and through.”

With each passing second, my heart pounds faster and faster. He inclines toward me and I move closer. Butterflies are throwing a mad party in the pit of my stomach. Like magnets, we inch closer and closer still. As my pulse throbs, he zeroes in on my lips and his eyes linger there.

I’ve imagined this moment so many times without ever really believing I’d get to experience it. Now that I’m here, seconds away from my first real kiss, I’m terrified of the strength of my emotion. I never knew it could be like this. That I could feel such a strong connection to a boy; that my body could tremble with such intense desire. And our lips haven’t even met yet.

We are a hairsbreadth from one another. I bridge the final distance and close my eyes. His fingers brush my lips and I’m tingly all over. Reopening my eyes, I see the adoration glistening in his gaze. For me.

“Ala beatra.” The words roll seductively and respectfully off his tongue. I’ve no idea what it means, or what language he’s speaking, but it sounds beautiful.
And like a form of worship.

Though it’s possible I’m deluding myself.

He closes his eyes and presses his mouth to mine. His touch is feather soft and it unravels me. I kiss him back equally gently and he moans softly. His lips exert more pressure as he draws me in flush with his solid chest. I’ve never felt this much emotion before. It’s almost too much, but at the same time, not enough.

Gaining in confidence, I encircle my arms around his neck and melt into him, savoring the feel of his body as it presses against mine. Angling his head, he extends the kiss, and it grows in intensity and fire. I’m matching him, kiss for kiss, and my need for him is reaching an all-time high. I can’t get enough of him. He is everywhere, and yet I need more.

Liam Westbury has the world at his feet. He’s the quintessential golden boy. He’s the superstar quarterback for Beaumont High. His girl, Josie, is head cheerleader. He has his choice of colleges just waiting for him. Except he’s suffocating from all the pressure he’s under and no one understands.

Liam Page is the heartthrob he never wanted to be. He’s successful, smart and in demand by record companies and his adoring fans. Music is his passion, his love, but something’s missing. His nights are lonely and he longs for the girl he left behind. Seeing her in every face in the crowd haunts him with the knowledge that she hates him. Going home has never been an option until now.

Be there when Liam Westbury becomes Liam Page and follow the highs and lows of the Quarterback turned Rockstar as he finds a way back to Beaumont in this prequel to Forever My Girl.

My Review:
This was a great companion novel and it contained completely new material which was refreshing. I really came to understand Liam’s decision once I saw the backstory. I had read some of the reviews before starting, and was afraid I would hate him after reading this, but I didn’t. I actually really felt for him in the first half.

Mason’s decision was really shitty and while I had been looking forward to meeting him, he wasn’t a very good friend. He was mooning over Katelyn and no one else seemed to matter. I was hugely disappointed in Josie. She had complete blinkers on and she never asked her boyfriend what was wrong or made any effort to understand him. I actually came out of this thinking she doesn’t deserve him.

The second half of the story was difficult to read at times because I didn’t like seeing Liam with other women and I can’t understand how he could be in love with Josie for ten years and still sleep around so much. And he lied when he said in the first book that he had only enjoyed hook ups because he had a relationship with Sam. Hated reading that part and was glad it wasn’t too detailed.

There were a few timeline errors that bugged me, but that’s just a pet peeve of mine, and it didn’t detract from my enjoyment of the story. My only disappointment is I would have liked to have seen some of the reunion with Josie (especially the initial scenes and him learning about Noah) from his perspective, but overall it was a fantastic addition to the series.

Release Day: When Forever Changes

Today is the release day for my latest standalone contemporary romance book When Forever Changes. I am ridiculously excited to finally share this book with you, lol. Gabby, Dylan, and Slater’s story is my most angsty and emotional book yet, and I literally poured my heart and soul into this one. I believe this is my best work to date but I’ll let you be the judge of that! Just make sure to have tissues nearby when reading this one.

When Forever ChangesWhen Forever Changes
by Siobhan Davis

Emotional, angsty, new adult romance. Standalone title.

Gabby

Looking back, I should have seen the signs. Perhaps I did, but I subconsciously chose to ignore them.
From the time I was ten, when I first met Dylan, I knew he was my forever guy. Back then, I couldn’t put words to what I was feeling, but, as the years progressed, I came to recognize it for what it was—soul-deep love. The kind only very few people ever get to experience.
Dylan was more than just my best friend, my childhood sweetheart, my lover. He was my soul mate. We were carved from the same whole—destined to be together forever.
Until he changed.
And I believed I was no longer good enough.
Until he shattered me so completely, it felt like I ceased to exist.
And I’d never experienced such heart-crushing pain.
Until he leveled me a second time, and I truly wanted to die.
But I had to stay strong because I wasn’t alone in this cruel twist of fate.

I look to the sky, pleading with the stars, begging someone to tell me what I should do because I don’t know how to deal with this. I don’t know how to cope when my forever has changed, and I can’t help wondering if I had seen the signs earlier, if I’d pushed him, would it have been enough to save us?

Or had fate already decided to alter our forever?

Book Trailer

Excerpt

He mutters under his breath before swinging his SUV into an empty spot outside the club. When he cuts the engine, he turns to face me. Cautiously, he reaches out, cupping my cheek. “And that’s exactly what I’m talking about.” His warm breath oozes over my face, raising goose bumps along my bare arms. “The most beautiful women are those who are completely unaware of the power they possess. Those who don’t fake it or obsess over their looks. Those who just are. Women whose inner beauty outshines what’s on the outside.”

“Like your mom,” I say, conjuring up an image of her gorgeous dark features and remembering her selfless heart. She sacrificed so much for her son, and it was that innate goodness that shone through, overriding her natural beauty.

“Like Mom.” He rubs his thumb across my cheek. “Like you,” he adds, staring at me with glassy eyes. My pulse thuds wildly in my neck as he continues to stare at me, peering deep into my eyes, and something shifts in the space between us. His thumb continues caressing my cheek, and a new layer of butterflies scatters in my chest. The longer he looks at me and the more he touches me, the more conflicted he looks and the more confused I feel.

“You’re so beautiful,” he whispers after a couple tense minutes. When he moves his face in closer to mine, my heart races a hundred miles an hour as if it’s about to take flight from my chest. My mouth is dry and my panties the complete opposite. “And so inherently good.” His eyes lower to my mouth, and I think I’ve actually stopped breathing.

Is he thinking about kissing me?

And why is that getting me all worked up?

Our marriage wasn’t just in trouble—mere threads were all that held it together.
What was once my perfect happily ever after had dissolved right before my eyes.
I can tell you when it started to happen.
What I can’t tell you is why.
And after seven months of watching my husband turn into someone I didn’t recognize, I’d given up hope in finding answers.

So I decided to break his heart
… and he did nothing to stop me.

Trigger warning: This book contains cheating and other sensitive subject matter.

My Review:
Absolutely exceptional storytelling. I spent the first half of the book desperately trying to figure out Leo’s secret, and while I was on the right track, I still could never have guessed that. My heart broke for him, for them, but I loved watching them reconnect and become a team again.

I loved the family theme and the children’s characters and interactions were spot on for their ages.

Not really sure how I feel about Jared. He seemed to care for her but we didn’t really get enough of his backstory to fully understand. I guess I’ll just have to check out his book to discover more.

Wow, what an amazing thought-provoking story, and one that will stay with me for a long time.

I thought he’d always be mine,
even when I was forced to say goodbye.

We were never meant to let go,
but it happened anyway.
Too bad I didn’t know someone was waiting to take my place, or I would’ve held on a lot tighter.

Two years later, we were exactly where we’d always planned to be.
I’d kept my promise.
He’d forgotten all about his.
Not only had he moved on, but the person he’d moved on with was my best friend, leaving me to begin college with a broken heart.

I guess this is the part where I’m supposed to tell you some other guy stepped in, repaired my shattered pieces, and made me smile again.

This isn’t that kind of story.

My heart might have been broken,
but it refused to fall out of love.

WARNING: this book contains cheating.

Each book in the Gray Springs world can be read as a standalone.

My Review:
I floved this book so much I stayed up all night reading it. I tried to put it down at 3am and spent the next two hours tossing and turning as anxiety twisted my stomach into knots. I gave up and picked the book back up again, and finally got to sleep at 7 a.m. I’m totally blaming Ella Fields for my crappy productivity today, lol.

This book completely satisfied my craving for a messy, angsty romance and I lapped it right up. There were plenty of times where I wanted to project myself into the story to throttle the characters, but I had to settle for silently screaming abuse at my Kindle instead. I really hated Quinn for a lot of this book. He professed undying, eternal love and then gave up too quick, and the way he treated Daisy at the start really frustrated me, especially when he allowed that beatch Alexis to crawl all over him in deliberate malicious PDAs. I don’t think I have hated a character as much as I hated Alexis. What a cow. Quinn redeemed himself in the end so I forgave him, but I really wanted to kick Daisy in her ladyparts a few times and tell her to stop mooning over him in such a transparent way. I also really wanted her to rub his nose in it by hooking up with Callum, but she was too nice and too heartbroken to do that.

I adored the flashback scenes and I really felt their connection, hence why I became so involved and felt so much frustration with Quinn.

The writing was superb, the pacing consistent, and we got a fab epilogue and HEA in the end.

In summary, this was a fantastic read and one I would highly recommend to readers who enjoy angsty forbidden romance.

Then, Crawford wakes up . . . with no memory of Vale or their relationship. Heartbroken, Vale opts to leave for college and move on with her life. Except now, she’s in Slate’s territory, and their story is about to take a very strange turn.

My Review:
Absolutely loved this except the end was far too abrupt, and it feels like I don’t have closure. Happy I guessed the twist, and it was genius. The blurb really drew me in and it had the right level of angst and drama to keep this reader happy, just wish the ending was different.

Also, I’m wondering why the end paragraph of the blurb is there as it’s technically not correct. I’m wondering if the story was maybe written like that first, and was later changed. It was actually that part of the blurb that really hooked me. I can’t help thinking of how angsty that would’ve been. Maybe she’ll do a Jessica Sorensen on it and write a different version of the same story with a different Part 2 – would love to read that!

The third book in the bestselling Wicked Bay series from L A Cotton

To the outside world, seventeen-year-old Kyle Stone has it all. A future playing the sport he loves, money and status, and his forever girl by his side. But Kyle’s good at pretending; hiding what he doesn’t want others to see. Because Kyle has secrets, the kind that can change everything.

Pretty, popular, and dating one of Wicked Bay High’s rising football stars, Laurie Davison is living the life most girls only dream about. But behind closed doors, she feels like a fake. Keeping up appearances is exhausting, and the one person she should be able to turn to is the person pushing her away.

They say love conquers all, but lies destroy. And when the truth comes out, hearts don’t only get hurt.

They get ruined.

My Review:
Another fantastic addition to the Wicked Bay series, and a book I devoured in less than twenty-hour hours. I have adored Kyle in this series to date, and I couldn’t wait to read his story. Lianne did not disappoint. I really felt for our boy, and this was an emotional, heartfelt read. He made some silly mistakes, and hiding stuff from those you love is never a good idea but it all came full circle and ended up in a good place. Kyle is such a great character and I loved his banter and his swoony romantic side – a definite addition to my book boyfriend list!

I floved seeing Rick and Lo so much too, and seeing how united they are just warmed my heart, but I’m anxious for what’s coming next with them with Maverick heading to college and Lo having to face Caitlin during senior year by herself. I have a feeling the angst and drama are about to be ramped up, and I cannot wait for Wicked Games.

Another well-written, angsty romance that is sure to be a crowd pleaser. If you are a fan of this series, you will definitely want to read this one, and if you haven’t picked up Wicked Beginnings yet, what are you waiting for??!!

Finding Kyler Free

Finding Kyler (The Kennedy Boys #1)
by Siobhan Davis

Two fractured hearts and a forbidden love they can’t deny.

You shouldn’t want what you can’t have…

Faye Donovan has lost everything. After her parent’s tragic death, she’s whisked away from her home in Ireland when an unknown uncle surfaces as her new guardian.

Dropped smack-dab into the All-American dream, Faye should feel grateful. Except living with her wealthy uncle, his fashion-empire-owning wife, and their seven screwed-up sons is quickly turning into a nightmare—especially when certain inappropriate feelings arise.

Kyler Kennedy makes her head hurt and her heart race, but he’s her cousin.

He’s off limits.

And he’s not exactly welcoming—Kyler is ignorant, moody, and downright cruel at times—but Faye sees behind the mask he wears, recognizing a kindred spirit.

Kyler has sworn off girls, yet Faye gets under his skin. The more he pushes her away, the more he’s drawn to her, but acting on those feelings risks a crap-ton of prejudice, and any whiff of scandal could damage the precious Kennedy brand.

Concealing their feelings seems like the only choice.

But when everyone has something to hide, a secret is a very dangerous thing.
